HOW LONG DOES JULIET/V-LASE TREATMENT TAKE?
Treatment is very quick and easy. the actual procedure takes only 3-5 minutes. Patients are in and out of the appointment within 30 minutes.
IS JULIET/V-LASE TREATMENT PAINFUL?
Patients do not experience any pain during this treatment. We utilize a strong numbing cream whenever possible to assure total comfort. Some experience mild discomfort during treatment. For most, treatment is entirely comfortable.
For many, the results are life changing. This treatment can cure stress urinary incontinence or significantly improve it. Treatment can produce tightening of the vagina or labia tissue, an increase in vaginal moisture and natural lubrication, a more enjoyable tissue sensitivity, a reduction of pain during intercourse, improved tissue health, less disease symptoms and more.
Results are commonly felt within days. Results increase as the tissue rebuilds over the 3 months following treatment. If PRP is used in conjunction with Juliet laser treatment, Results can continue increasing for up to 6 months.
This varies greatly depending on the specific patient’s issue and health condition. Most experience benefits that are lasting for years and sometimes more permanently. For many, follow up treatments every couple of years are a worthwhile way to keep the tissue optimally healthy and avoid further aging issues. HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?
1 Treatment can provide relief from symptoms of vaginal issues or prevent vaginal issues. Depending on the condition and the severity of the issues, a treatment series may be recommended. A series of 2 treatments is often recommended to successfully treat many issues. In more severe cases, a series of 3 treatments may be recommended. The practitioner can discuss your specific needs and recommend appropriate treatment at your first treatment or at consultation.
WHAT IS THE TREATMENT SPACING?
Treatments are generally spaced 4 weeks apart, if a series is recommended.
SHOULD I ADD PRP SERUM TO MY JULIET TREATMENT?
PRP is being used in many areas of medicine today because of its proven results. The platelets in our blood contain over 20 growth factors that stimulate stem cell growth to produce new healthy tissue. Adding PRP Serum to your treatment is advised because of its benefits to healing, growth, and health of tissue. We use the best PRP collections kits and centrifuges, Selphyl and Magellan TruPRP, to deliver the most beneficial concentration of PRP for all of our treatments.
IS THERE DOWNTIME WITH THIS TREATMENT?
Not really. Treatment can be done on a lunch break or after work and patients can return to normal activities right away. It is recommended to avoid sauna use and bathing or swimming for a few days after treatment. Occasionally, patients may feel light cramping or very slight discomfort. If there is any discomfort, it is usually described as “feeling like I had something doneâ€. This is because the tissue has been ablated and is initiating healing phases, which include inflammation. Inflammation is intentionally initiated by the laser to cause tissue growth and increase the health of the tissue. Advil or Tylenol work great to deal with any discomfort during healing. Some spotting consisting of the ablated tissue may be discharged from the area. A panty liner may be used to deal with this. All of this, if any occurs, will disappear within days after treatment.
WHEN CAN I RESUME SEXUAL INTERCOURSE AFTER TREATMENT?
Patients are required to abstain from sexual intercourse for 3 days post procedure. This is to allow the tissue to heal and to prevent infection. After 3 days, sexual intercourse is encouraged.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING POST PROCEDURE/AFTERCARE?
Patients can return to normal activities right away. It is recommended to avoid sauna use and bathing or swimming for a few days after treatment. Occasionally, patients may feel light cramping or very slight discomfort. if there is any discomfort, it is usually described as “feeling like I had something doneâ€. PRP action is thought to be lessened as a result of these medications or drugs. Some spotting consisting of the ablated tissue may be discharged from the area. A panty liner may be used to deal with this. All of this, if any occurs, will disappear within days after treatment.
Treatment involves no drugs, is non-surgical, is non-invasive, and is non-hormonal. It is generally a safe option for those who are contraindicated for hormonal treatment options, such as breast cancer survivors.

Still, treatments are priced affordably, are a good value, and are an effective way to avoid costly and time consuming surgeries.
WHAT ABOUT JULIET/V-LASE FOR TREATING LICHEN SCLEROSIS?
This treatment is getting great results in medical studies. Juliet, an erbium laser, is an effective way to treat lichen sclerosis. This may be the one area where Juliet laser treatment may be covered by insurance or MediCare.
